Introduction

The renewed Governmental Hotline started to function in December 2013 in the Central Office for Administrative and Electronic Public Services using loads of technical achievements in order to provide a wider range of customer service including phone administration which will be introduced gradually. In 2017 the maintanance was transferred National Infocommunication Service Ltd. (NISZ Zrt) The services of our call centre was constantly being extended and promoted.

We are available 24/7 on seven channels. Hoping to give you the option best suiting your interest our call centre is available onland lines and on mobile, VoIP, e-mail, sms, fax and chat.

Priority tasks

Our customer service provides a wide range of services to citizens, entrepreneurships and public administration bodies 24/7. Our priority is to provide quick, accurate and up-to-date information in connection with the following topics:

  • Supporting personal administration:we provide information on the cases applicable in integrated government offices, document offices and government offices.
  • Supportinge-administration:we assist you in connection with the electronic forms from thecustomer gate registration to the uploading of the filled-in documents
  • Phone administration: thanks to our continuous developments some cases be applicable directly through phone;

History of the Governmental Hotline

Hungary has joined the European Union for more than ten years. One of the conditions of joining was to improve the electronic channels of public administration, therefore on 8 June 2005 the first call centre dealing with public administrationmatters was launched on 189. The establishment of the call centre was officially announced in January 2006. Between 2005 and 2009 the Governmental Hotline was maintained by the Electronic Government Centre of the Prime Minister’s Office and in 2013 was maintanance by Central Office for Administrative and Electronic Public Services.
